Trees of Hope is a 501(c)(3), with the mission of organizing and completing community tree planting projects, educating citizens and organizations about tree planting, and reducing the effects of climate change and beautifying communities through planting trees in partnership with organizations, communities, and volunteers. Trees of Hope was founded by Jake Johnson in 2023 after organizing dozens of tree planting events in southern Wisconsin. We help plan, facilitate, and complete tree plantings big and small with a focus on planting native species and increasing tree diversity and canopy coverage, especially in communities where more trees are needed.
